     The honorary guests of 2016 ICF Junior & U23 Canoe Sprint World Championships are the Olympic champions in canoe sprint Belarusians Leonid Geyshtor and Sergey Makarenko (1960, Rome). 
    Leonid Geyshtor shared the emotions of those who are at Junior and U23 Championships in a native country as a spectators. 

    — I am at this course for the first time. Everything corresponds to the international standards. The competitions are like real fest. <br>

     The closer the final, the closer the tactic actions on the water. Liudmyla Kuklinovska from the Ukraine came to the final on the second position at a 500 m distance heat among juniors. The athlete pointed out that she got used to distribute the force to be among the strongest at the next starts:

     — I economized the force in the heat as the final race will come soon. I will do my best to come to the decisive race. What concerns the performance of my team, the Ukraine shows rather nice results.

     The life of the athletes of the Championships is “boiling”. They have little free time. Moreover every seconds of the hours of the athletes are defined. How can the athletes cope with such a pace of life and show perfect results? We decided to learn this information from the Norwegian kayakers, who participated in the first race of the second day. Juniors Harald Ivarsen, Vemund Næss Jensen, Hakeem Terald, Mathias Svoren finished the race of1000m on the second position.

Katya Aleksievich: «We want to glorify our country at the international competitions, because I have never stood at the podium when the anthem of Belarus is sounding. I want to experience it for myself. To be proud of my country and myself».
